About us
Who we are
Based in the heart of London in Piccadilly Circus, Marick is a team of seasoned property professionals delivering developer‑led real estate and independent consultancy across the full lifecycle of the built environment.
Over the last 25 years, our people have been involved in some of the industry’s largest and most complex developments across every major sector, experience that underpins the clarity, commercial discipline and technical strength we bring to every project.

We believe in long‑term partnerships built on trust, shared objectives and complete transparency in financial reporting and project governance. Our highly experienced team brings together specialist skills across development, project management, cost control and fund monitoring to provide a seamless, joined‑up service.
Equally, we understand that strong personal relationships are essential to successful delivery. That’s why we match the right people to each client and partner, ensuring a best‑in‑class, dedicated service built on collaboration, accountability and an owner’s mindset. Trusted, independent and commercially grounded, Marick gives investors the confidence and certainty they need in a complex real estate landscape.
Our Leadership Team

Patrick leads Marick’s growth and operational consolidation as a developer and manager of real estate assets across multiple use classes. His focus is on building a disciplined, client centred business that aligns strategy, delivery and capital to create resilient projects and long term value.
He entered the real estate industry in 1987 with Cushman & Wakefield (then Healey & Baker), where he progressed to run European Operations, Corporate Services and, subsequently, West End Office Agency. In 2000, Patrick joined European business park developer Akeler as a Director overseeing UK developments, including Leeds Valley Park, Central Park Manchester and Rainton Bridge in Sunderland. Following the sale of Akeler to Macquarie Goodman in October 2006, he became Director for UK business parks, stewarding a portfolio of approximately £2bn. In 2007, he co founded Marick and after an initial period of growth, the company consolidated as Marick Real Estate in 2017, where Patrick continues to serve as Managing Director.
Away from work, Patrick is a former Barnes RFC player from the late 1980s/early 1990s whose love of sport later moved to squash and tennis before settling on golf, where he plays off 12 and serves as Honorary Secretary of the Estate Golfing Society.

Nigel has been Finance Director at Marick since 2013, with responsibility for all financial, IT and HR matters. A chartered accountant with 35 years’ experience, most of it within the real estate sector, he brings experienced financial oversight and a measured, disciplined approach to how the business invests and allocates its resources. One of his central priorities is ensuring Marick’s capital is deployed wisely and supports sustainable growth across the business.
In addition to his professional role, Nigel is an honorary Canon of Kondoa Cathedral in Tanzania, a connection he has strengthened through six visits in recent years to support and develop links between the Diocese and his home church.

Matthew joined Marick in 2015 and is responsible for the full delivery cycle across all Marick projects and developments. He has led some of the company’s most complex schemes, including the £120m Lambeth Civic Centre and Town Hall masterplan. The programme comprised the refurbishment of a Grade II listed town hall, a new civic building for the London Borough of Lambeth, and three major residential developments, including a 14 storey tower and the restoration of a listed art deco building.
Matt has a track record spanning residential, hotel and industrial sectors, and leads Marick’s education sector team. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Association of Project Management, and holds PRINCE2 Practitioner status, bringing rigorous technical and programme discipline to every scheme he oversees.
Outside of work, Matthew is a committed sportsman, regularly playing golf, squash, cycling and padel.

Dan joined Marick Real Estate in 2019 as a Chartered (RICS) project manager and brings over a decade of experience in the construction industry. He has acted for developers, commercial occupiers and institutional investors, delivering project management, contract administration, due diligence and development and fund monitoring across a wide range of commercial schemes.
His experience spans CAT A and CAT B fit‑outs, major cut‑and‑carve office redevelopments, as well as new‑build office and hotel projects. Dan graduated from the University of the West of England with a first‑class degree in Building Surveying before qualifying as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2017. Week to week, he is an active sportsman, having completed both an Olympic triathlon and a Half Ironman, and is a keen runner.
Sustainability
Innovation and responsibility go hand in hand at Marick, treated as core principles that shape how we plan, design and deliver real estate.
We consistently go beyond industry benchmarks, applying an holistic approach to sustainable development, from the earliest stages of master planning through to the whole life cycle. By integrating environmental performance with commercial discipline, we ensure sustainability enhances asset value rather than compromising deliverability.
We are proud to have contributed at the highest levels of industry leadership, from piloting BREEAM for offices at its inception to sitting on sustainability and regeneration panels for the British Council for Offices. These experiences continue to inform how we deliver responsible, future-focused development that supports both communities and long-term investment performance.
