Marick are pleased to announce that Gilbert-Ash have been appointed as main contractor to deliver Emanuel School’s new Science Block project. Building contracts were signed just before Christmas 2024 and Gilbert-Ash are now working on detailed design, finalising licences and temporary works approvals with Network Rail (in close proximity to the site), and working with the school to remove asbestos from the existing building in advance of demolition commencing in April 2025.
We are excited to be working with the school to get this landmark project under contract and moving forward with construction!
Marick are retained by Emanuel School to act as Project Manager/ Employer’s Agent and Commercial Manager on the project.
The project is targeting BREEAM “Excellent” and will be adopting a broad range of renewable technologies to maximise the sustainable credentials of the building.
