This privacy notice applies to Marick Real Estate Limited and its subsidiaries from time to time (“Marick”). For the purposes of UK data protection law, Marick Real Estate Limited is the data controller in relation to the personal information described in this notice.  Marick is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This privacy statement sets out the basis on which we will process any personal information that we may collect about you as a visitor to www.marickrealestate.com or our premises (MYO, 1 Sherwood Street, London W1F 7BL), as a contact at one of our customers, suppliers or other business partners or as an investor in a fund where Marick act as Operator, Trust Manager, AIFM or Depositary.

Where Marick act as Operator, Trust Manager, AIFM or Depositary for a fund, we will maintain a register of the investors. Without up-to-date information, we will be unable to keep investors informed concerning their investment which we have a contractual obligation to do. We are legally obliged to use personal information to comply with laws that assist in the prevention of financial crime and to comply with regulatory obligations. For example, this might include confirming your identity and source of wealth. Personal information may be received directly or indirectly from investors’ financial advisors. 

We may from time to time review information about you held in our systems – including communications – for compliance regulatory and business-protection purposes as described above. This may include reviews for the purposes of disclosure of information relevant to litigation and/or reviews of records relevant to internal or external regulatory or criminal investigations. To the extent permitted by applicable law these reviews will be conducted in a reasonable and proportionate way and approved at an appropriate level of management. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.


Disclosure of your information

We may disclose personal information about you, where reasonably necessary for the various purposes set out above:

  • to your colleagues within the organisation that you represent;
  • to service providers who host our website or other information technology systems or otherwise hold or process your information on our behalf, under strict conditions of confidentiality and security;

Retention and deletion of your information
