Marick were appointed as Project Manager and Employers Agent on this part new build, and part refurbishment of an existing hotel to provide a 151 key Hilton Garden Inn.
The works consisted of the demolition of the existing facilities block and provided a four storey extension comprising bar, lounge, restaurants and meeting rooms at ground floor level with additional fitness facility and bedrooms on the floors above. The remaining wing of the hotel underwent an extensive high quality refurbishment in line with Hilton Garden Inn brand standards. The proposal ensured the hotel had the critical mass of guest accommodation to support the level of investment required for a quality hotel development and to secure the hotel’s long term viability.
