Marick were appointed to undertake a wholesale review and analysis of the tender documentation and submissions that the client had received.

All tenders were equalised on a like-for-like basis and any Contractor’s Proposals were reverted back to the Employer’s Requirements, in the first instance, where they differed from the ER’s. All tender qualifications/queries/clarifications and exclusions were closed out.

A value engineering exercise was then undertaken with the School and tendering parties before a tender report and recommendation was put forward to the School. The review exercise saved the school in excess of £250k.
